Ricky Martin made his first public appearance since allegations that he had an incestuous relationship with his nephew were dropped. But his performance at the Hollywood Bowl made no mention of his legal troubles and he made no comment about the incest issue thrown at him.

According to TMZ, Martin, 50, addressed the audience, "Are you truly enjoying yourselves?" before performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.

He said all he wanted that night is for his fans to forget about their problems and just focus on love and light. The vocalist of "Livin' La Vida Loca" then performed for the throng without mentioning the controversial court case.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, the nephew of Ricky Martin's half-sister Vanessa Martin, has previously claimed that he and the "She Bangs" singer were in a seven-month romance and that the singer stalked him after they broke up, prompting Sanchez to request a restraining order.

Sanchez abandoned his allegations against his renowned uncle this week, culminating in the dismissal of the case.

"The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter," lawyers Joaquín Monserrate Matienzo, Carmelo Dávila and Harry Massanet Pastrana said in a joint statement.

Martin later commented on the case that devastated him, saying, "Thank God these allegations were shown to be untrue, but I'm going to tell you the truth, it has been so traumatic and devastating for me, my family, and my friends. I would not want this on anyone.

Martin has no ill-will against his accuser. In fact, he wishes he would go and live a joyful life, instead that is full of light and truth.

The protective order for domestic violence was served to Martin by Puerto Rican police on July 1. According to the Spanish news outlet Marca, his 21-year-old nephew sought it, citing a family member of Martin's. There were allegations in the article that 50-year-old Martin and his nephew had a romantic relationship. Marty Singer, Martin's attorney, refuted the charges in a statement to CNN on Monday, calling them "false" and "repulsive."
