Amy Grant decided to let go of her upcoming tours - for now - to focus on her health.

After a horrifying bike accident that left her unconscious for minutes, Grant's team announced that the singer decided to cancel her fall tour to focus on her health.

On her Instagram page, Grant's manager, Jennifer Cooke, noted that the singer survived the accident just like she did after her heart surgery. Still, she had to cancel her concerts and reschedule them to ensure her recovery.

"We are amazed at how fast she heals. However, although she is doing much better, we have made the difficult decision to postpone her fall tour so she can concentrate on her recovery and rebuild her stamina," the manager revealed.

The decision was made due to her desire to give 100 percent of herself whenever she performs. However, she needs more time to heal since rehearsals might prevent her fast recovery.

Instead, she will conquer the stage again early next year - in February through April 2023, to be exact.

Grant also expressed her gratitude to fans who have been sending her well wishes.

Cooke also noted that the singer, however, will return to touring for her upcoming Christmas tour with Michael W. Smith. She would also appear in her annual Christmas at the Ryman residency with Vince Gill.

"Last night Vince performed his second concert of a four night residency at the Ryman. He informed the crowd that Amy was getting better every day after a bike crash last week that left her unconscious for about 10 minutes and with a concussion (along with various cuts and bruises)," the post on the singer's Facebook page read.
