Big Time Rush is in serious danger from the ire of Twitter users, especially Beyonce and Lizzo fans- as a result of them teasing about releasing a song called "Paralyzed."

It's an old song that was not released, and as the band contemplates dropping it into the market, the title of this old song sparks an outrage. Many have deemed it ableist and shared how Beyoncé and Lizzo's willingness to change the lyrics of their songs when they were accused of the same is clearly lacking on Big Time Rush's part.

The former boy band of the 2010s has just reformed to release new music. It can be remembered that one of its fan-favorite vault songs, "Paralyzed," has been leaked before but never officially featured on an album.

It is now in the lineup to be released if the band receives a go signal from their fans.

On August 13, they sent out tweets "We're so happy to see that everyone across the globe are now able to enjoy all our music. But the real question. How badly do you want us to release PARALYZED?" They urged their followers to make "PARALYZED" trend before they released it, but it hasn't yet because of the negative comments that it garnered.

The song is exclusive to Sound Cloud (in an unofficial capacity) but those who got to listen to it and study the lyrics, found it quite problematic. For those who did not think deeper about the lyrics, they would say that the song is quite fairly plain, seemingly innocuous song about a girl whose beauty has rendered the lads paralyzed.

In essence, they are infatuated. The issue of course is that they play up the paralyzed angle. They even stutter some of the lyrics they are singing, which is where the situation becomes troublesome for many. Not only was the song deemed offensive to those with real paralysis issue, some said it's a sign of how racism remains at large in the music industry.

Some argue that individuals who protested Beyonce and Lizzo's' use of the word "s***" in their songs and asked that it be removed should do the same for BTR. The argument boils down to... some in the ableist community and/or their allies are actually just racist - because they made a big stink when two Black women innocently used the term - which was popular and regularly used prior to the 2010s, frankly - but when a group of white/white-passing men are more on the nose, there appears to be no outrage.

Beyonce and Lizzo fans therefore think this is unfair, plain and simple. Women of color who are also with disabilities are very appalled.
