Taking to her official Instagram account, Feist said she will drop out of Arcade Fire's tour and she will never stand for the band.

"I was here to stand on my own two feet on a stage, a place I've grown to feel I belong and I've earned as my own," she continued.

She added that she plays for her band and their families as well as her fans who paid with their hard-earned money in the "collective synergy that is a show."

Feist recognized her privilege by saying she was lucky to travel the world and sing her own songs, but she clarified that she has never taken all of that for granted.

The singer noted that she and other people have a similar story within the topics of "being physically, psychologically, emotionally or sexually assaulted."

Although she noted that the experiences the alleged victims experienced can't be solved by her quitting the tour, Feist couldn't continue anymore as it won't be resolved by staying.

At the last part of her statement, she said that the best way to take care of her team is to leave the tour, but the conversation regarding the topic will remain.

"I'm claiming my responsibility now and going home," she concluded.

Feist Was Able to Perform at Arcade Fire's Tour

In early reports, fans shared photos of Feist's merch during Arcade's fire concert. Beside the merchandise is a letter that says all proceeds will go to Women's Aid Dublin.

The organization aims to prevent and stop domestic violence among women.

Win Butler had already addressed the issue by sharing a written statement, admitting that he indeed had sexual interactions with the people who came forward, but he clarified that everything was consensual.

Three women first shared their stories, saying that the age gaps, as well as power dynamics between them and the singer, are inappropriate.
