As Rina Sawayama gears up for the release of her new album, she surprised fans with a live performance of her title track "Hold the Girl."

Taking to her official YouTube channel, the British pop star shared an exclusive Vevo Studio Performance featuring herself and a group of backup dancers.

Throughout the four-minute video, the "Tokyo Love Hotel" belted out her best vocals as well as choreography as they danced around a blue-lit stage.

After the video was released, fans were sent into a frenzy based on their comments as they were shocked by how Sawayama and the dancers performed.

"Can we just talk about the CHOREOGRAPHY?!? First off, I LOVE when artists do the choreography along with dancers, its so much more immersive and performative," one wrote.

The user pointed out that artists usually dance in unison with their backup dancers, but in the singer's case, it's the exact opposite.

There were parts of the video where they danced all together, but they change it whenever a climax of the song hits to emphasize the track's story.

Another fan also pointed out Sawayama's vocals, writing, "that chord change never fails to make me cry. this woman deserves the world."
