Queen Elizabeth II's funeral might play several emotional songs as the public pay tribute to her.

Plans for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral have been planned out decades before her death, known as Operation London Bridge or London Bridge is Down. Unfortunately, the monarchy needed to do the things on the list already following her passing on Thursday.

Although Buckingham Palace has not confirmed the songs that would likely be played during her funeral, it released the monarch's favorite music pieces on her 90th birthday in 2016. Per Classical Music, one or more of which might be heard during her special day.

The list shared on the website includes 10 songs: Howard Keel's "Oklahoma!", Dolores Gray and Bill Johnson's "Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better), Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth Band featuring the Military Wives's "Sing," Fred Astaire's "Cheek to Cheek," Vera Lynn's "The White Cliffs of Dover," George Formby's "Leaning on a Lamp-post," Trad hymn's "Praise My Soul, The King of Heaven" and "The Lord is My Shepherd," Lester Lanin's medley music, and Regimental March Milanollo.

The Telegraph has since confirmed that one of the aforesaid songs, "The Lord Is My Shepherd," will be sung at the thanksgiving service. It was also played during her wedding.

In comparison, Prince Philip's funeral played "Eternal Father, Strong to Save" - offering a nod to the Duke of Edinburgh's naval career.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II's father had the hymn "The Strife is O'er, the Battle Done" and Parry's prelude to "Ye boundless realms of joy."

Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral: Date, Venue, and More Details

On Saturday, days after Queen Elizabeth II's death, Buckingham Palace released the funeral arrangements planned for the late monarch.

It confirmed the state funeral on Monday at Westminster Abbey, the first monarch's funeral since the 18th century. Her coffin will be moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall for lying-in-state on Wednesday.

The Royal Family's official website that the public will have an opportunity to visit Westminster Hall during the lying-in-state before it ends on September 19. Queen Elizabeth II's coffin will be then taken to Westminster Abbey to officially hold the State Funeral Service.

King Charles III, who succeeded the monarchy following Queen Elizabeth II's death, declared that the date of the late monarch's funeral would be a bank holiday across the United Kingdom as a sign of respect.
