Bad news for Caroline Polacheck fans! It appears that concertgoers won't be seeing the singer until next year as she recently announced the cancelation of her tour dates for this year; why did she postpone her highly-anticipated concert?

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Breathless" hitmaker shared a new set of rescheduled tour dates while apologizing to her fans for the cancelation of her shows in the United Kingdom and Europe.

In addition, she will also not perform alongside Flume in Australia. However, there's still a chance for fans to see her perform live this year as her three Primavera Sound festival shows will proceed as scheduled.

Her Primavera SA shows would be at São Paulo on November 6, Buenos Aires on November 12, and Santiago on November 13.

Another canceled date was her Halloween show in London, but her team moved it on Valentine's day.

To make up to her English fans, Polacheck added a show in Oxford and she's looking forward to performing in the city as it's going to be her first time.

Fans shouldn't worry about refunding as all tickets will be honored for the new dates except for Paris, France, which was discussed in photo posted on her account.

Why Did Caroline Polacheck Cancel Her 2022 Shows?

The "New Shapes" songstress gave fans an explanation as to why she had to postpone her upcoming tour dates, saying it's been an "exhilirating year of playing shows" but she loved doing it.

However, she had to take some time off from performing as her new album is closed to being finished and she needs the "uninterrupted attention it requires." (via NME)

Polacheck also opened up why her new album took a lot longer than the last one, saying it became a slower process for her because of all the touring.

She clarified that she enjoyed performing live for her fans and all the energy she shared with concertgoers went straight into new music.

"I am so grateful to have such an incredible live audience and will not let you down," she added.

She concluded her statement by expressing her gratitude to fans for their patience and understanding.

" New music coming (extremely) soon," she wrote.

As of this writing, Polacheck has not revealed an official release date for her new album. Her last record "Pang" was released in 2019.
