Kanye West drove a sharp turn after receiving flak for his snide comments against Fashion Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, bringing his unrelated custody problems with his kids into the mix.

Earlier this week, Kanye West sent the internet crazy after wearing a "White Lives Matter" statement shirt during the Paris Fashion Week during his Yeezy presentation. West was not alone in the act, as she recruited a notable conservative and good friend, Candace Owens, for the stint.

This display, however, did not sit well with Vogue Fashion Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who was also in the venue at the time. She took her comments into Instagram and aired out her concerns, which at the same time, pissed the "Donda" rapper off. (via PEOPLE Magazine)

In return, Kanye poked fun at Johnson's outfit, even noting that Anna Wintour, Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, would not like her boots at all.

With Kanye's distasteful remarks against Johnson, model Gigi Hadid took notice and chimed in on the issue - banging her two cents on the table and dropping some truth bomb on Kanye, describing him both as a "bully and a joke."

Notable fashion institutions defended Kareefa-Johnson's honors. Vogue released a statement yesterday.

"Vogue stands with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, our global fashion editor at large and longtime contributor. She was personally targeted and bullied. It is unacceptable," the publication said in a statement.

Supreme creative director Tremaine Emory also came to Johnson's side, calling out Kanye West on his repeated mentions of the late Virgil Abloh's name as part of his "victim campaign." "YOU ARE SO BROKEN. KEEP VIRGIL NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH...KEEP @gabriellak_j NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH...Your not a victim your just an insecure narcissist that's dying for validation from the fashion world...take care," Emory quipped.

Meanwhile, things have escalated. As per Kanye West's recent posts on Instagram, he revealed that he had already had a meeting with Gabriella Kareefa-Johnson, to which he claims that they have already gotten to a point where they both apologized to each other.

In his most recent statement, Ye seemed to still be hurt by Gigi Hadid's comments - as he publicly asked what the supermodel thought of when he was allegedly kept away from his kids. Netizens quickly came to the comment section, confused about why Kanye brought his kids into the conversation.

"Kanye shut up cuz you pissing me off now them f---king shirts were disrespectful and you were brought up better than that what would Ms Donda say if she seen the sh--t you on now. Don't try to deflect from what you just did!!!!" a user said.

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian, Ye's estranged sister-in-law, meddled and called him out too for bringing his children into the conversation to reap some sympathy and enforce the pity narrative.
