It's official! Dead & Company has finally announced their final tour ever and this might be the last time fans would be seeing them perform live as there are still no hints about touring in the future; how can concertgoers snag tickets?

According to Variety, the band, consisting of John Mayer and former Grateful Dead members Bill Kreutzmann, Bob Weir, and Mickey Hart, will be touring across the United States starting next year.

The line of scheduled shows, simply titled "The Final Tour," was announced by the band last month, saying they will be hitting the road again next year and wanted to tell fans about it soon because "words travel fast."

Dead & Company Final Tour Rumors

There have been rumors circulating online during their last tour as many people alleged that it would be their last. Lucky for fans, they will still embark on a farewell tour.

Numerous news outlets and insiders previously confirmed the rumors over the past few months, but Weir immediately debunked the claims by writing, "news to me..." while retweeting an article.

In addition, the group issued a statement, saying they have made "no official decision" of a final tour at the time.

There have been rumors about possible disbandment as well, but John Mayer revealed in an interview that the band will keep going on "indefinitely" even though there will be new members in the future.
