Adele has finally released her official music video to the song I Drink Wine, and it is perfection in a metaphorical bottle.
Late October has been an absolutely sensational time for new music releases. An ever expanding, incredibly impressive list of talents have held off until this very corner of the year to show us the heart and soul of their work. Adele has now joined the roaster of those eager to release content during this latter half of October. The mega-sensation released her highly anticipated official music video to her song I Drink Wine today, October 26th, and noon. We can't stop watching it.
The I Drink Wine music video is, without exaggeration, a masterpiece. It is seven minutes long, and every second is captivating. As Adele sits in a gorgeous gown, floating down a peaceful river with a brilliantly colored sky above, her rich voice pulls the viewer in, hooking us in visually and emotionally.
On top of that, it is FUNNY. While keeping her finger on the pulse of truth and emotion, she finds the comedic beats perfectly. As she floats glamorously down the river, she gives the energy of one venting to her friends at girls night (while, yes, drinking wine).
The video ends on a heartwarming, meta moment. The video pans out and we see the camera crew celebrating the wrapping of the music video shoot. While this is happening, we hear a striking voice-over of Adele herself saying, "My only regret is..." (Well, we'll let you watch the video to hear what she says!
