Hip-hop fans are still mourning the death of Takeoff after he was shot in Houston, Texas. Today, the collaborative music video for the song "Messy" is trending on social media; are there clues found in the video that are related to the tragedy?

According to Fox 5 Washington DC, the video was posted on social media the day before the rapper passed away. The track was a part of the duo's album titled "Only Built For Infinity Links." It was the last post found on Takeoff's Instagram account.

As the music video continues to trend online, many fans shared their theories about Takeoff's death being related to the music video.

One user noted that the video foreshadowed the shooting incident, at the 3:33 time mark, the scene featured a fight because of gambling while Takeoff was standing next to an RIP sign and a grim reaper.

"the signs and energy are usually there, we just have to pay attention," the user wrote.

The user also pointed out a specific scene in where Quavo holding a contract while having a gun beside him.

Another fan alleged that Takeoff's death was "planned" as Quavo was given an option to "choose a migos contract or a gun," and he ultimately chose the firearm.

Takeoff Cause of Death

Two days after Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, passed away, the Harris County coroner's office spoke to Billboard to confirm the rapper's official cause of death.

The musician died of "penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso in to arm."

According to Billboard, 1/3 of Migos was shot dead in the early hours of November 1 at 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. The rapper was with his collaborator, Quavo, at the time of the incident.

Around 2:35 a.m. gunshots can be heard around the area after an altercation between the rapper and a group of men. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other victims, a 23-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman were also shot, but they were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Mayor Sylvester Turner spoke during a press conference, asking the public to come forward with information that would help authorities with the investigation to finally give the rapper's family justice.
