Kanye West could dig himself an even deeper hole if he attempts to sell his "White Lives Matter" t-shirts in the United States, given that the slogan has already been trademarked.

Interestingly, it belongs to two black men.

The hosts of the radio show Civic Cipher, Ramses Ja and Quinton Ward, legally acquired the word last month, as if they envisioned Kanye West's controversy, which started on Paris fashion week, will escalate to this point.

The two told CNN that it's all about preventing it from falling into the wrong hands.

The trademark grants the right to sell apparel bearing the aforementioned words, as reported by TMZ.

The trademark was purchased by an anonymous listener of Ramses and Quinton's show on racial justice, who filed it on the same day that Ye wore his controversial dress at Paris fashion week.

A few weeks ago, the listener switched ownership to their show. Ramses and Quinton said it was a difficult decision to take the trademark, but added that once it was clear that someone stood to gain a significant profit from it, it was a quick decision to make.

According to them, even though (Kanye) says some really hurtful, divisive, and sometimes crazy things, he has a fanatical following, and everything he releases sells out.

As noted, Kanye was stirring the pot before to his antisemitic remarks by wearing a "White Lives Matter" hoodie at the beginning of October at his Yeezy fashion show. Candace Owens also wore a similar hoodie.

Does this imply that he cannot profit from these clothes and avoid financial ruin? Probably.

According to Page Six, Kanye West may be mere months away from financial ruin. Sources claim that although the rapper has a huge amount of wealth, he also has enormous costs and might soon be in financial difficulty if he does not find a way to turn the situation around.

According to people familiar with his finances, West has five sources of income, but four of them have either been fully shut down or severely hampered as a result of his anti-Semitic outburst and support for white nationalists.

In recent years, West reportedly made money through his enormous Adidas and Gap deals, his song catalog, the sale of new music, and shows. Adidas, the true source of his immense fortune, stated earlier this week that it will immediately cease payments after terminating its major Yeezy sneaker deal with him.
