It's pretty common these days to hear a rap song reimagined in a different genre. Countless covers of rap songs featuring a vocalist of a different gender or an acoustic guitar are flooding the pages of YouTube. What's not so common though, is for a rap song to be turned in to a bluegrass tune.

You might think this would sound disastrous, but it actually sounds pretty awesome. The Gregory Brothers, of "Auto-tune The News" fame, traded in beats for banjos in their rendition of Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's new single "Black Widow."

The Gregory Brothers reconstructed the song and even changed the key from minor to major to give it a happier sound. In their video for the cover, they are sitting on a white porch, dressed in rural outfits, holding banjos, corn, and guitars.

"What if a black widow was a friendly, nice spider, that helped you along on your journey on earth?," The Gregory Brothers wrote on YouTube. "If Black Widows were nice spiders, then maybe instead of being a minor girl-power jam, Iggy Azalea's latest track would've been an upbeat, happy, bluegrass jam."

Azalea and Ora released their Kill Bill-themed video for "Black Widow" off Azalea's latest album The New Classic earlier this week. They'll also be performing it live on August 24 at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
