Adele is performing in her highly-anticipated residency shows in Las Vegas and there have been thousands of fans in attendance. However, there was a very important person in the crowd that she didn't notice until after the show; who could this be?

According to Billboard, country legend Shania Twain attended one of the British singer's shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Unfortunately, the two didn't get a chance to talk face-to-face as Adele had no idea the singer was there.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the "I Drink Wine" songstress shared a photo of herself on stage with Twain watching her from afar while wearing a cowboy hat.

In the caption, the Grammy Award-winning singer said she's thankful that the country star was wearing a hat or she would have "self-combusted" if she ever saw Twain.

"I would have self combusted had I seen it was you!! I adore you, I can't believe you came to my show," Adele captioned.

Shania Twain responded back by re-posting the Instagram story, writing, "Thank god we didn't make eye contact, all I can think of is the reaction of all those fans to @adele combusting halfway through the show," along with a laughing emoji.

Adele Las Vegas Residency Dates + Shania Twain Going on Tour

Adele's Las Vegas residency shows has been a controversial issue earlier this year as she initially canceled her performances at the last minute, but the singer is back to perform her classic hits as well as songs from her latest album "30."

The British songstress' next show would be on December 2 at 8 p.m. at the same venue, the Colosseum at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace. The scheduled date would run until March 25, 2023.

Meanwhile, Shania Twain would also go on tour next year to support her upcoming album "Queen of Me" which features her previously released songs like "Waking Up Dreaming" and "Not Just a Girl."

The country legend is excited to get back on the road and meet her fans in different cities again. Her tour will begin at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, on April 28, 2023.

"This one's gonna be a big party - no inhibitions, no conditions, let's get a little out of line!!" she wrote in the announcement.
