Celebrating its 40th anniversary since its release, Michael Jackson's "Thriller," is still considered one of the biggest albums of all time, if not the best-selling album of all time.

It has been recorded to have sold more than 70 million copies worldwide since its release in 1982.

Trailing behind the Eagles' "Their Greatest Hits," "Thriller" has been certified 34x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The album was produced by legendary music icon Quincy Jones, "Thriller" is considered one of pop culture's most relevant music albums of all time, apart from it being Michael Jackson's project.

Per analyses, the album foreshadows the contradictory themes of the King of Pop's personal life, as he started the use of paranoia and darker themes from this album.
