Megan Pete testified during the trial that she was shot and injured on July 12, 2020, at the party in the Hollywood Hills. She said Tory grew enraged as a result of her criticism of his musical ability.

Megan said that before he fired five rounds at her, she had reportedly begged to be allowed out of a luxury vehicle.

He claimed to be on probation for a firearms charge, and the "Cognac Queen" testified that he made her an offer of $1 million to keep quiet about the attack. "You two are evil, wicked people, you know exactly what you did," he pointed at the prosecutors.

Later, he was forcefully escorted from the courtroom, but he continued to yell outside.

Sonstar yelled, "You know wanna know exactly how I'm feeling? I just stood here in the Los Angeles County and witnessed the worse miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen."

He also called out Desiree Perez, Alex Spiro, Roc Nation, and Jay-Z wicked.

"You wicked witch. You snitch."

Alex Spiro is a lawyer, Desiree Perez is Roc Nation's CEO, and Roc Nation oversees Megan Thee Stallion's professional life.

Sonstar further conjectured that Tory Lanez's claimed hostility from Roc Nation is a result of his refusal to sign a contract with the record company. Nobody has provided proof to support the assertion as of publication time.
