Drake has had a wonderful 2022 based on his track record when it comes to music and he's looking forward to be more successful this year. More recently, upon sharing his year-end recap post, he seemingly confirmed a rumor months ago that he was arrested in another country; could this be true?

Taking to his official Instagram account, the "Honestly, Nevermind" hitmaker shared a set of photos that defined his 2022. He began with a snap of himself and 21 Savage as they broke records with their collaborative project titled "Her Loss" over the past few months.

Upon swiping left, many people then noticed a random video that his fans are linking to his rumored arrest in Sweden in July.

In the short clip, Champagne Papi can be seen wearing a red sweatsuit and a pair of white sneakers while walking towards a "polis" car along with authorities. A person in the background can be heard saying "Who's in charge here?"

The following media posts are completely random selfies, photos of other people, and activities that he presumably did in 2022.

As of this writing, Drake has not blatantly confirmed whether he was arrested or not based on the recent video.

Drake Reportedly Arrested in July 2022?: Here's The TRUTH

In early reports published by Swedish culture site DOPEST, as reported by E! News, the hip-hop artist was said to be taken into police custody in Stockholm.

"Witnesses at the scene believe that it must be a drug crime, in the form of illegal possession of cannabis," the site wrote on their Instagram page. (translated from Swedish to English)

The site noted that Drake and his team were immediately released afterward.

The article led many fans to believe that he was indeed arrested and the phrase "Free Drake" immediately trended on Twitter and other social media outlets.

After the rapper went viral online, his representative set the record straight, saying he was staying at his hotel at the time and had not been arrested or charged with anything.

Although Drake didn't publicly comment on the matter, he took to his Instagram stories earlier that day, sharing a photo that seemingly confirmed that he was staying in his hotel room with a bottle of beverage placed over ice.
