Machine Gun Kelly rarely shares pictures with his mother and daughter, but for Christmas this year, it looks like they're one big happy family once again. What happened?

As a new member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Machine Gun Kelly is now obligated-well, not really-to host massive Christmas parties every year, just like the rest of the family he married into.

Perhaps it was because of the tight-knit bond the Kardashians have or maybe it was something else entirely, the rapper decided to invite his formerly estranged mother and daughter to his and Kourtney Kardashian's Christmas Eve party.

According to reports, this is one of the very few times that Kelly is showing off his 13-year-old daughter, Cassie. She was sporting a black ensemble paired with a red purse and her hair in braids.

There isn't much to know about the rapper's daughter, as she has been kept out of the spotlight for much of the time. Cassie is Kelly's daughter with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.

Mommy Issues?

While Kelly doesn't really share much about his daughter, what caught everyone's attention was his mother, who was included in the picture.

Six months ago, the rapper introduced his mother to his fans. He shared a picture of them together and captioned it: "introducing... my mom."

It's no secret that Kelly and his mother had a rocky relationship. In several instances, he talked about how she had left him and his father when he was only nine years old.

The 32-year-old also rapped about it in one of his songs, "Burning Memories."

The opening lyrics read: "Yeah, this one's for the mama that I never knew / I took acid just to burn all of my memories of you."

Their relationship used to be very strained, but after reconnecting, it seems like they are now in a much better place-and apparently, this is all thanks to his loyal and solid fanbase who made it happen.

"Wild story but after all these years, the fans are responsible for me and my mom finally reconnecting," he revealed on Twitter. "I love you."

Kelly, born Colson Baker, hails from Houston, Texas. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. Earlier this year, he tied the knot with reality star Kourtney Kardashian.

He first rose to prominence in 2012 with the release of his breakout single "Wild Boy," featuring Waka Flocka Flame." Since then, he has released several other materials, with his most recent album, "Mainstream Sellout," in early 2022.

While he seems like an all-around family guy now, Kelly is known to have feuds with fellow artists like Eminem, G-Eazy, and Corey Taylor.
