Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner called it quits almost a year after welcoming their second child.
However, this wasn't the first time that they parted. Fans are still left wondering what transpired between the two to prompt their rekindling of their temporary or permanent estrangement.
An informant who talked to Hollywood Life claimed that their breakup was mostly due to a commitment.
After six years of dating and raising two children together, one of the reasons Travis and Kylie split up is because the "Astroworld" rapper still hasn't proven to the founder of Kylie Cosmetics that he is fully dedicated to her for all time.
"He was aware of Kylie's desire to be engaged for a number of years, and they talked about it," the source explained.
However, the ring never materialized, and her loved ones and friends feel that she merits this. Travis was aware that she had always desired her ideal wedding.
It was even known to Kylie Jenner's mother and sisters.
Another report claimed that her family was already expecting her to come home with a ring on her finger when Travis Scott took her on a Mother's Day trip to Turks & Caicos.
In May 2022, the insider said, "As far as an engagement, Kylie's family has been pushing for this so hard and everyone can only hope that he proposes soon."
Nearly a year after the birth of their baby, whose name is still unknown, the rapper and the businesswoman didn't even celebrate the holidays together. Us Weekly also predicted that they would split up because of it.
"They have a history of being together and apart, yet they are always close friends and wonderful coparents."
In addition to their lack of togetherness over the holidays, the original source said that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner went through a difficult time and that both of them were afflicted by "stress" as a result of their hectic schedules.
They said, "They have previously split up and gotten back together, so it wouldn't surprise anyone if they do so again."
The fact that Kylie supported him in the face of everything he endured over the previous year "speaks volumes."
Uncertainty surrounds the on-again, off-again couple's future, but one thing is certain: they apparently want the best for their children. Therefore, it is assumed that Kylie and Travis would share parenting responsibilities for their son, whose birth name was Wolf, as well as their daughter Stormi.
