"Extra" host Billy Bush said something was off about Lisa Marie Presley when she interviewed her at the Golden Globes red carpet event two days before her death.

Presley's final interview went viral days after her "sudden passing" as fans noticed in the video that she showed worrying signs about her health. The interview in question was with ExtraTV's entertainment reporter, Bill Bush.

Fans said the singer-songwriter looked wobbly on her feet while doing the interview. At one point, she also asked her talent manager, Jerry Schilling, if she could grab his arm. Sky News Australia also observed her slurring her words while trying to answer the interviewer's questions.

After the interview went viral, Bush himself opened up to Fox LA and shared what he experienced and perceived firsthand.

The 51-year-old reporter said Presley was uneven in her balance, adding her speech was "very slow." He revealed that, after the interview, he told his producer that something was off.

"She was cognizant. She was certainly with it, just a second slow," he said. "But she was there. She was definitely there, but just a tad off in some way. It was clear that she was not coming up the two flights. I went down and met her on the carpet itself."

Although Bush already noticed something, he said he never expected Elvis Presley's daughter to die.

Bill Bush Says "History Repeats Itself" After Lisa Marie Presley's Death

The reporter called Presley's death "very sad" as it seemingly proved the possibility of "history repeating itself." Bush referenced the late singer's father, Elvis, who died at 42 after suffering heart problems decades ago.

For what it's worth, there have been talks about the Presley family "suffering a curse" as the King of Rock and Roll's grandparents were first cousins. His mother, Gladys, died of heart failure at 46.

Some of his siblings also passed away in their 40s. According to author Sally Hoedel, the events were not coincidences. She explained, as quoted by New York Post, that the family tree has "tangled branches" because of the rare DNA combination.

The book claims the deaths of the Presleys were the result of a genetic condition called Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. It reportedly "led to poor health, impacted brain function, compromised bodily functions, and damaged organs."

Like her father, Presley died following a cardiac arrest. Although she was resuscitated at home before being rushed to a hospital, her heart went flatline a second time after she was put into a medically induced coma.
