Kim Kardashian apparently wanted to be friends with Taylor Swift for a long time, but the reality star is still not welcome in the singer's social group.

The former "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star married the rapper who won the "Donda" prize, according to a source who talked to the National Enquirer, as a sign of her devotion to him.

This apparent loyalty persisted even after their divorce.

According to a source, Kanye required Kim's complete commitment in order to prevent her from ever admitting that she wanted to be friends with Taylor, but she now urgently wants that friendship.

Kanye stopped the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009, after she had won the moon man for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me."

The controversial rapper interrupted her acceptance speech, claiming Beyonce was more deserving of the award.

They eventually expressed regret, but they never completely won each other over.

There are now claims that Kim wants to be a part of Taylor's inner circle but is apparently unsure of how to get in touch with the famous musician.

Taylor said of Kim, "She can keep grudges with the best of them, but she wants the cachet of being in her posse.

The publication's claims should still be treated with a grain of salt, though, as there is no evidence that Kim Kardashian wants to join Taylor Swift's close-knit group.

Taylor Swift References Kim Kardashian and Kanye West In Her Latest Song?

The former power couple is allegedly the subject of Taylor Swift's song "Vigilante Sh-t," according to fans.

Since the publication of Taylor's album "Midnights" in October 2022, her fans has become used to and studied her songs.

The song "Vigilante Sh-t" aroused questions since its lyrics alluded to the singer exacting retribution on a well-known foe.

Given that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a very public divorce and the reality star often claimed she dressed for herself rather than being styled by her ex-fashion designer, a belief that the song was addressed at the couple quickly gained popularity.

There were references to getting even with an ex in one of the stanzas, and there also appeared to be a few mentions to the rapper and her other notorious foe, Scooter Braun.

"She needed cold, hard proof, so I gave her some / She had the envelope, where you think she got it from? / Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride / Picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife / And she looks so pretty / Drivin' in your Benz / Lately, she's been dressin' for revenge."

Concerning a failing private equity venture, Scooter was sued for $200 million, with Taylor referencing in her third verse, "While he was doin' lines and crossin' all of mine / Someone told his white-collar crimes to the FBI."
