After lecturing a paparazzo about photo licensing earlier this week, Kanye West's temper was tested again after a heated and violent altercation took place yesterday.

According to TMZ, West has been named a person of investigation in a battery case as he was filmed publicly berating a woman and snatching her phone.

In a video sent to the outlet, Ye was seen in a heated argument with a woman in her own car while the rapper was outside, visibly upset while the woman filmed him.

"You're a celebrity!" the woman shouted before Ye snatched the phone and threw it away on the freeway.

Afterward, he flees the scene and is approached by a photographer, who he seemingly confronts a little while after. West hopped back to his where Bianca Censori, his new wife, was waiting.

Shortly after, TMZ reported that law enforcement sources close to the scene revealed that Kanye was named the suspect in a battery investigation related to the altercation.

At around 4:30 in the afternoon, Ventura County Sheriff's Department was called to the scene of the incident and was provided the video evidence that captured the whole interaction.

As of this writing, it has not yet been clear if the woman was a professional photographer or was just simply taking photos of the rap mogul out of excitement.

The outlet also noted that the altercation took place near the same sports complex where her eldest daughter, North, had a scheduled basketball. The same area was also where Censori was spotted to have shopped at Balenciaga, the same luxury brand that severed ties to Kanye following his antisemitic remarks.

The incident came days after West publicly berated and lectured a paparazzo after taking photos of him in Hollywood. Another exchange with a paparazzo also took place at the Miami Airport after Kanye screamed at photographers for not getting a cut on their photos.

"I'm not saying it in a negative way. It's just like, right now, it's just really one-sided," he continued. "You guys can follow us, you guys can stand [outside] a hotel at any given time. You don't give us any percentage of what you're making off of us, off of our kids."

West has been relatively quiet on social media since his consecutive antisemitic statements on the media, which led to a huge blowback on his businesses.
