Phil Collins burst into the music scene in the 1970s, and he remains one of the most popular and successful singers in the world to this day.

Everyone knows the legend has sold more over one hundred million albums. Among his most popular songs are "Another Day in Paradise," "'In the Air Tonight," "'Do You Remember," and "One More Night."

The singer is the recipient of seven Grammys, six Brit awards, and an Oscar. Due to his health, he announced in March 2011 that he would be retiring from music.

The musician has a fractured vertebra in his upper neck, requires a walking stick, and has fought acute pancreatitis. But none of these are stopping him.

Collins just announced on Instagram that his fans may anticipate a new project from him. He stated that he will release a large collection.

The compilation will include unpublished live recordings from 1970 through 1998. It will be released as a 53-track 5CD and 24-track 3LP collection, with liner notes by author Michael Hann and a 40-page booklet.

Reportedly, the new album will be released in March.

In fact, Lily Collins sent a birthday greeting to her father, in the occasion of his 72nd birthday. Emily in Paris star uploaded a series of throwback images of herself and Genesis drummer Phil Collins in identical stances and attire. The photographs depict a fully clothed Phil sitting in a bathtub with a similarly positioned Lily.

Like father, like daughter, stated the 33-year-old in the description of her Instagram post. Other photographs depict the Grammy winner in his early years with his arms crossed and a solemn expression as he stares into the camera while wearing a blue jacket, next to Lily wearing a similar blue jacket. Another set juxtaposes a photo of the In the Air Tonight singer wearing overalls while reclining on a sofa with a photo of the Mank actress wearing overalls at the beach while wearing a floppy hat.

The Reflector Charlie McDowell, the husband of the Mirror actress, responded by sharing three heart emoticons and a birthday cake emoji. Taylour Paige-Angulou answered with a kiss and a wave emoji, and Lily's Emily in Paris co-star William Abadie said, 'My idol.' The Easy Lover singer continues to thrive.

Allegedly, after completing a reunion tour with Genesis in March 2022, Phil is slated to take his show on the road across the United States beginning in September for a series of performances.
