Priscilla Presley was left traumatized after her son was almost killed weeks before Lisa Marie Presley's death.

Navarone Garcia, Priscilla's son and Lisa Marie's half-brother, recalled the terrifying incident that almost killed him before his mother's eyes. He detailed the near-fatal experience in an exclusive interview with People.

According to Garcia, it happened weeks before his half-sister Lisa Marie Presley died of a cardiac arrest on Jan. 12.

The 35-year-old musician said they visited an animal sanctuary outside of Los Angeles when a 2,000 lb. camel bit him and lifted him while he was feeding it. The camel was reportedly abused in a circus in the past.

"When I ran out of food, it bit me by the hand and lifted me up almost off my feet," he said. "It then dropped me on the ground and pounced. While it was pouncing on me, it literally got my whole head in its mouth and bit me."

Sanctuary workers tried helping him but could not get it off because of its weight. A dog near the scene then helped him by going at its face.

Garcia recalled seeing his 77-year-old mother freaking out as she was left traumatized by the incident.

Although the staff called 911, he opted to drive back to his Los Angeles home and seek treatment in a hospital in the area instead. The musician added that he seemingly became the worst patient in the emergency room as he had blood all over him.

Priscilla Presley's Son Also Struggled With Drugs

In the exclusive issue of People this week, Garcia also opened up about his past drug struggles - the same experience Lisa Marie had.

He said his problem with drugs started during his teen years. At that time, he tried heroin before switching to fentanyl. The latter substance is infamously known for being 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times than morphine.

In 2020, he got clean from hard drugs and opioids so he could visit his now-wife in Switzerland. He then started detoxing at Priscilla's home.

"I was pretty much in my bed in the fetal position all day," he went on. "It feels like a different lifetime, almost. The whole world got a lot better [afterward]."

Garcia admitted that he still smokes marijuana and drinks alcohol. But he pledged to support his mother, who lost his half-sister last month. He revealed that he plans to take her to Brazil for a vacation.
