The Beginning of Maren Morris' Career in Music 

Maren Morris began her music endeavor when her father bought her a guitar when she was twelve years old. As Morris got older, she continuously pursued music, by utilizing her talent to play the guitar, and sing, simultaneously. According to Gemtracks.com, Maren recorded and published her first studio album,"Walk On." The album was released in 2015, under the music label, Mozzi Blozzi Music. 

Maren Morris 2023 Grammy Nominations 

Morris is nominated for a total of three Grammys at the 65th Grammy awards on February 5. She's nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Circles Around this Town." Morris is also nominated at this year's Grammys for Best Country Album-"Humble Quest." In total, Maren has 17 nominations for the Grammys under her belt. She scored a Grammy win in the 59th Grammy awards for Best Country Solo Performance-"My Church." 

The Story Behind the Creation and Production of 'Circles Around this Town' 

Morris co-wrote her Grammy nominated song, "Circles Around This Town." According to Taste of Country, the first verse of the song shares the challenge Morris likely faced as she transitioned from that of being a Texan to a Nashville singer-songwriter. Co-writers of "Circles Around This Town" are Morris' husband, Ryan Hurd, Jimmy Robbins, and Julia Michaels. 

'Something Beautiful' 'Out of Darkness' in the Making of 'Humble Quest' 

"Humble Quest" is Maren's album that was released on March 25, 2022. Fellow singer-songwriter and hubby, Ryan Hurd, describes "Humble Quest" as 'bittersweet' in the making. The 11-track album defines what Morris see as being "humble," after having gone through challenging times in lieu of the coronavirus pandemic, as per reported on Country iHeart.
