BTS' fans, ARMYs, are disappointed "but not surprised" after the K-pop supergroup did not receive any recognition again this year.

BTS' 2023 Grammys bid failed again as the HYBE's supergroup did not win in any of the three categories it got nominated in. The seven-member boy group scored spots in the Album of the Year ("Music of the Spheres"), Best Music Video ("Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)"), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("My Universe") at the 2023 GRAMMY.

But after the weekend ceremony, ARMYs expressed their disappointment again and called Grammys "scammys" once more.

On Twitter, several hashtags and phrases related to BTS trended, including BTS ARE UNTOUCHABLE, BTS PAVED THE WAY, and BTS WORLD DOMINATION. Fans called out Grammys over its disappointing results, accusing the award-giving body of snubbing the group for three consecutive years despite being deserving of the awards.

One said, "no award show and hate can erase the fact that bts is the biggest act of this generation. their achievements and music cannot be equated to a trophy. BTS ARE UNTOUCHABLE."

"This is such a disrespectful to BTS. The fact that they didn't use actual music video for Yet To Come in nominations," another wrote. "We're disappointed but not surprise. However, they know how to respect them a little bit. BTS ARE UNTOUCHABLE BTS IS COMING SOON BTS PAVED THE WAY."

BTS has been bringing home awards from the biggest ceremonies across the globe. It also recorded many firsts, including the first Asian act in history to win at the American Music Awards 2021.

Grammys Suffered Condemnation Due to Organization's "Corruption" Controversy

BTS is not the only artist to suffer a snub in the past years.

The Weeknd also called out the Recording Academy after he was excluded from the 2021 nominations. It was a huge shock as the singer had the biggest album (After Hours) and most-streamed single of the year (Blinding Lights) at that time.

The Recording Academy eventually announced the elimination of the secret" nomination-review committees that played a huge role in creating the list. However, The Weeknd made it clear that he would continue to withhold his music for the awards since the trust was already broken long ago.

Still, he noted that the Recording Academy's move was an important start.

With BTS' snub, music critics believe that there is still corruption in the organization, although the Recording Academy never stated or admitted it during its rule change announcement.
