Friends are allegedly worried about Elton John these days.

According to reports, the "That's What Friends Are For" singer has been reportedly binge eating and has gained back a lot of the weight he had previously lost.

The award-winning singer-songwriter has been using shapewear to seem thinner, a source told Globe magazine.

Elton John is said to have gained 40 pounds while on his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour and wheezes as he walks away and tries to huff and puff when performing.

The informant claimed that the British man has gotten so obese that he must wear corsets and girdles and fit his body into clothes that are too small for him.

People were quite delighted of his weight loss two years ago, though. However, he has now regained it all and more.

The LGBTQ+ superstar, who had been yo-yo dieting for a while, began consuming his favorite meals, including spaghetti, bread, and rich sweets. According to rumors, Elton dislikes working out these days and stays away from the gym like the plague.

"His face looks pretty obese too," I said, "and that double chin is proof."

The father of two, who has battled prostate cancer and pneumonia, said that he requires a pacemaker because of his type 2 diabetes.

He must weigh 200 pounds now, and most of it is in his tummy, according to Dr. Gabe Mirkin, who did not treat Elton.

Additionally, the medical professional thinks that the "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" singer has a "fatty liver," which is the primary cause of diabetes.

He said, "His physicians must have advised him that diabetes can be treated only by lifestyle modifications, not by any treatment available today."

Despite having a pacemaker put in 1999, Elton is apparently at a high risk for a heart attack since he is unable to alter his lifestyle.

Elton John also discussed shedding a few pounds during the epidemic in a People magazine interview from the previous year.

He described how he played tennis and went swimming throughout the lockout.

"I just wanted to come out the other side not overweight and feeling that when I go back on tour I'm going to be the fittest I've ever been."

Elton John, meanwhile, is said to be worth $550 million. Since he has been in the business for so long and has established a reputation as one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time, the majority of his wealth comes from his music.
