Rihanna's Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance is just around the corner, and the expectations are absurdly high-especially since this will mark the singer's first appearance onstage after years.

To ensure that her performance will go off without a hitch, the "S&M" singer took some inspiration from one of the best Super Bowl halftime show performances.

"I watched Beyoncé's halftime performances a couple of times. She is a beast and a whole other level. Just to be inspired, really," the 34-year-old singer shared during her appearance at "The Process with Nate Burleson."

Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show performance was a decade ago, in 2013, but it remains one of the fans' favorites and most iconic.

She headlined the highly-anticipated event solo, but brought some familiar faces onstage with her, like her Destiny's Child sisters Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women," Hollywood Life reported.

While Rihanna only mentioned Queen Bey's performance, many can deduce that she probably went through a myriad of performances over the years.

NFL and music fans saw a number of talented and legendary performers take over the Super Bowl halftime stage over the years-Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Coldplay, and more.

In fact, Rihanna has pretty big shoes to fill as she is succeeding Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and company.

Last year's Super Bowl halftime show was headlined by the aforementioned artists, including 50 Cent and Anderson . Paak; their performance earned them a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live).

"You get lost in the pressure of it, you get lost in getting it right," Rihanna admitted.

However, Dr. Dre gave the singer some advice on how to tackle such a huge feat, "Put the right people around you, and have fun. That's basically what it is, making sure you have the right creative people around you.

She might want to look into some of the people that we used to do our show."

He also praised her, but admitted that the Super Bowl LVI halftime show is a tough one to surpass.

"I just like [Rihanna] and what she does, and her get-down, and how she approaches her artistry and the whole nine. It's fantastic. She has the opportunity to really blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely high."

On the other hand, Rihanna also cited Prince's performance as one of her inspirations, "He did not overthink that not one second and I loved that because I felt it, I received it through the screen. I often go back and watch that halftime show."
