Rosalia is going to be awarded the Producer of the Year at the upcoming Billboard Women in Music Awards 2023.

This new award will be another win for the Spanish singer who received much success the previous year with the release of her album, "Motomami."

"We are thrilled to honor Rosalía with this award and recognize her behind-the-scenes work in the recording studio to bring her vision to fruition," said Billboard's editorial director, Hannah Karp.

"With numerous groundbreaking hits that blur the lines between traditional music genres, Rosalía consistently uses her unique producing abilities to break the mold and deliver the unexpected.

There are so many talented producers like Rosalía out there, looking for their big break - we're excited to provide these women and non-binary creatives with support and a much-needed platform through our new partnership with Bose."

According to reports, this year's Billboard Women in Music Awards will see and award some of the biggest and most success Lantin music singers, like Ivy Queen and Becky G.

Ivy Queen will be presented the Icon Award while Becky G with the Impact Award.

Rosalia's Rise

Rosalia's third studio album "Motomami" is credited as the reason for her rise in the music industry.

Aside from the singer herself, this album's producers are some of the most talented in the country, Noah Goldstein, Michael Uzowuru, Dylan Wiggins, El Guincho, and Pharell WIlliams.

There is no correct or incorrect in making music," Rosalia previously told Billboard. "if I thought like that I wouldn't do anything. I always feel music is about an urge. And [in] Motomami, there are so many different influences, and I need to feel free to create and I need to create in order to feel free. I make music because that's my truth."

Her tactic in making music obviously paid off, as it earned her several No. 1 hits as well as a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album and several Latin Grammy Awards: Album of the Year, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Engineered Album, and Best Recording Package.

According to reports, this is simply the beginning of Rosalia's reign. In 2023, she performed at the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter 2023 fashion show in Paris and released her bilingual sing "LLYLM," and will be performing at Coachella in April.
