Is Katy Perry feeling left out of "American Idol"?

She allegedly feels "excluded" after being "bromanced out" of their group, which includes other judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, as she prepares for her sixth season on one of the longest-running reality TV singing contests.

The "Teenage Dream" singer feels like a "third wheel" while filming the ABC smash.

According to a National Enquirer source, the mom-of-one believes "American Idol" has become a guys' club.

"They play pranks on each other and tell inside jokes."

Both male singers even recently teamed together for a "Crash My Playa" event last month, when Luke sung his praises, describing Lionel as "one of the finest human beings ever," as well as "one of [my] best friends in the world."

The country singer and soul performer surprised the audience with a live performance of a few famous tunes, including "Easy" by The Commodores.

Before performing his hit song "Stuck On You," Lionel told Luke, "I want to do this song with you because I say every night in my show this is a song you like to sing."

Katy Perry was a judge on American Idol's 16th season, which aired on March 11, 2018. She has remained a judge in future seasons, including the current 21st season, which premiered on February 19, 2023.

ABC confirmed last summer that all three judges, including host Ryan Seacrest, will return to host the singing competition series this year.

While there were no genuine fights between Katy Perry and the male judges on the program, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer was open about having a few real ones with her other judges due to their differing perspectives, emphasizing that she held her own and stayed by her decision.

Last year, Luke Bryan sparked outrage among social media users after a fundraising event for Hurricane Irma relief featured a contentious cameo by current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The country artist eventually apologized and begged internet detractors to understand that his actions were not political in nature.

However, Katy Perry admitted that she didn't really "agree" with Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan when it came to their opinions on a few contenders this season.

The fiancée of Orlando Bloom told Entertainment Tonight, "Those boys, like, it's true, they may have been a little bullied by my direct, black-and-white yes or no [choices] these past seasons."

However, it's best to take the report about Katy Perry feeling left out with a grain of salt.
