The long wait is over! Victoria Justice just celebrated her 30th birthday a few days ago and to celebrate a big milestone of her life, the actress/singer released her debut single "Last Man Standing" 13 years after her appearance on Nickelodeon's "Victorious."

Speaking to Variety on why she decided to drop a song on her birthday, the singer, popularly known for her character Tori Vega on the show, said stepping into her 30s made her feel "empowered."

Justice then noted that her new track captures a lot of empowerment and revolves around the theme of strong women.

Despite being in the industry for more than a decade now, her latest song is her sixth single ever. The musician previously sang in the official soundtracks of the movies she appeared in including "Trust," "Afterlife of the Party," "The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again," and many more.

Elsewhere in the interview, the former Nickelodeon star has finally confirmed that she's going to release her debut album soon, but it appears that fans are going to wait for a while.

"I can't say that that is done right now by any means, but I think right now, I'm focusing on releasing some singles. I have a collection of songs right now that I'm really proud of," she told the outlet.

When asked about her dream collaboration, Justice said she would love to work with songwriter Raye (popularly known for the viral song "Escapism" on TikTok) if given the chance.

As of this writing, Victoria Justice has yet to reveal the official release date of her album.

Speaking about other projects outside music, it appears that the singer will not stop acting in films as she has a few movies coming out soon like "The Tutor" and "California King."

"The Tutor" will see a different side of Justice when it comes to acting as she is going to be more mature compared to her previous roles. Her character would be a pregnant woman, which she describes as "really funny."

In other updates, the actress confirmed she will not be appearing on "Zoey 101" reboot as Lola Martinez, saying, "the timing of everything didn't work out."

Despite not appearing in the upcoming reboot, the musician noted she still keeps in touch with her former co-stars like Jamie Lynn Spears, Sean Flynn, Erin Sanders, and more.
