Musician and Academy Award-winning actor Jared Leto appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, and left 30 Rock looking slightly different than when he arrived. In addition to appearing in a sketch and performing with his band Thirty Seconds To Mars, Leto received an impromptu beard trim from Jimmy Fallon.

"I would take the beard down a notch," Fallon suggests, which Leto agrees with, admitting, "Well...I have been asked to do some resurrections lately...incredibly exhausting." With an electric razor, Fallon gives Leto a quick trim, leaving his beard intact, only slightly less Christ-like. "You trimmed my bush real good," Leto tells Fallon at the end.

Before the interview, Leto appeared in a sketch with Fallon called "Intense Staredown," in which they play two people meditating on a mountaintop (who later in the show were given the names "Spencer Greg" and "Greg Spencer"), though Leto's character is considerably creepier and more unbalanced. Leto's band Thirty Seconds To Mars closed out the show with their song "End of All Days." You can check out their performance right here:
