Choupette the Cat
Known as one of the richest pets in history, Karl Lagerfeld's cat, Choupette, was not present at the gala, obviously for logistical and common reasons.
However, her presence was indeed felt throughout the fashion event as Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, and Jared Leto gave their respective interpretations of her. Doja Cat got her prosthetics on while Lil Nas X was butt-naked as he covered himself in silver body paint and rhinestones. Leto, on the other hand, came with a mascot costume, shocking everyone with his surprise reveal.
Chloe Fineman's Interview
Vogue recruited "SNL" comedienne Chloe Fineman as one of the carpet's hosts. When fashion icon Stella McCartney went with Madelyn Cline and Aubrey Plaza graced Fineman's spot for a quick chat, many online seemed to not realize that their "cringy" interview was a bit.
Notably, Fineman asked them for their names, which sent many netizens appalled and confused as to why someone would do that to three well-known personalities. However, some pointed out that Fineman and the trio were actually pretending not to know each other, given that Fineman and Plaza worked on SNL together.

MET Gala's Unexpected Guest
We all know that the MET Gala is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Sports icon Serena Williams shocked everyone with her baby bump as she confirmed to LaLa Anthony that she was pregnant for the second time. Model Karlie Kloss also debuted her baby bump on the carpet with her stunning Loewe floor-length black gown and Jimmy Choo heels.
Rihanna & A$AP Rocky's Grand Arrival
As most of the invited celebrities successfully climbed the intimidating steps of the MET, many have been waiting for the main guest star of the evening - Rihanna! Arriving with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who earlier that day jumped a barricade to get into his hotel, the couple was nothing but regal in their arrival.
Despite arriving fashionably late, the couple did not disappoint in their MET Gala look, making it worth the wait for their long walk to the top!
