Janet and Michael Jackson's nephew had some words to impart to women-specifically black women in the music industry.

TJ Jackson took to social media to share exactly that he thought about the way his singer aunt have been conducting her live performances.

"I never liked when she did this in concerts either. I don't like when females are overly sexualized in art," he wrote.

"It degrades and objectify's [sic] women in a way that's not healthy. I prefer the 'That's The Way Love Goes' Janet."

A fan, who felt the need to defend Jackson, replied to his tweet: "Do you think maybe you just have a different outlook on it because she's your literal aunt? I don't agree with your point, but I think maybe Janet isn't the best person to make your point."

However, it seems like the singer's nephew was pretty solid of his opinion because he doubled down and replied, "Nah...I didn't like it. It just diminishes her amazing talent. But would love to hear your disagreement."

Although he seemed like he was coming from a place of support and understanding, fans felt like he was being judgmental and biased against female performers.

The fan did not relent, instead, they pointed out that Jackson's uncle, Michael, as well as other male artists like Prince used to sexualize their performances as well.

"But me personally I just don't think women being sexual diminishes their talent. I mean Michael was humping the floor and Prince was...Prince, that didn't diminish their talent. What's the difference?"

Jackson simply replied, "My aunt got dirtier than my uncle. [...] I've traveled and seen how black women are treated better outside the states. They are truly and rightfully celebrated more and I believe it has a lot to do with how we allow ourselves to be projected here."

The exchange went on further, but neither seemed to be too interested in meeting halfway.

A short while later, Jackson once again took to social media to, this time, address the black women population.

"To all the black women out there.... know your worth. I truly believe you are the strongest beings on the planet," he wrote.

"Don't sell yourself short. Become the queens you are meant to be."
