Day 8 frontman Tom Sizemore died suddenly as a result of a brain aneurysm. He was just 61 when he died.

The actor, well known for his performance in "Saving Private Ryan," was flown to a Los Angeles hospital last month after suffering a critical medical emergency, but he has since died.

His manager, Charles Lago, shared the devastating news on Friday, confirming that Tom Sizemore died in a California hospital.

Charles stated that the actor had a brain aneurysm on February 18, just weeks after his final red carpet appearance, and was unconscious about 2 a.m.

In a statement, the manager revealed, "Today doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision."

"The family is now deciding end-of-life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday."

Heidi, who dated Tom Sizemore after her release from prison in 1998 after a tax fraud and money laundering conviction, claimed that in his last days, the actor told her, "I don't want to use narcotics anymore."

Heidi states she understands he relapsed despite claims he was working out everyday and using minimal dosages of opiate addiction medicine.

"I was told that Tom was going high at his house when he had the aneurysm," the former madam stated in an interview with The Sun.

Tom allegedly informed her that he was on methadone and that he had been running and taking care of himself by working out every day while on low dosages of methadone.

"I should have known better than to believe what he told me over the phone. Someone phoned me and claimed he couldn't walk."

Moreover, Heidi stated that his inability to walk was an evident symptom that he required immediate medical treatment due to a problem with his circulation.

"I informed him when Lisa Marie Presley died that she ate junk food and that you need to give your body vitamins."

"It's devastating," Heidi continued, "because he wrote in one of his final emails to me only a few days before he had the aneurysm, 'At least we're alive right now.'"

Tom Sizemore's Final Public Appearance Before Death

Tom was last seen in public little over a month ago in what was likely his final public appearance.

He was last seen in January at the Bermuda Island Movie International Premiere in Los Angeles, where he appeared to be in excellent spirits. Tom Sizemore, on the other hand, was far from his action movie days since he was dressed in a checkered shirt with a blue Henley top.

Tom wore a black hat over his greying hair and smiled shyly as he posed on the red carpet with other celebrities.

Nevertheless, before his tragic sickness and death, Tom Sizemore was set to feature in a new science fiction film called "Impuratus."
