Riley Keough is not letting her battle with Priscilla Presley affect her role as a sister to her twin sisters.

After Lisa Marie Presley's death, Keough's role in the family has been tested as her grandmother challenged the late singer's will. While they are yet to finalize who will have control over Elvis Presley and Lisa Marie's fortunes, the "Daisy Jones & the Six" star is reportedly doing her best to play her role as the big sister in the family.

A source revealed to People for the magazine's cover story this week that the 34-year-old has been very protective of her twin sisters. Finley and Harper Lockwood, both 14, are Lisa Marie's kids with Michael Lockwood.

"Riley has always been close with her sisters," the insider said. "She wants the best for them. They have been surrounded by drama for years."

The siblings attended the public memorial for Lisa Marie at Graceland on Jan. 22. Amid their closeness, Keough drifts away from her grandmother, Priscilla, who filed a petition over Lisa Marie's living trust.

Riley Keough, Priscilla Presley's Showdown Explored

After Lisa Marie's death, Priscilla filed a petition to question the authenticity and validity of the late singer-songwriter's living trust amendment made in 2016.

Before her passing, Elvis Presley's daughter removed her mother and her former business manager Barry Siegel as co-trustees. The removal took away their control over her trust, which includes the Graceland mansion and a 15-percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE).

The document has since named Keough and Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020, as the trustees.

According to Priscilla, she did not know anything about the amendment until her daughter died. She said that it should be voided, citing several reasons, including Lisa Marie's failure to inform her of the changes. She also alleged that her daughter's signature was forged and her name was misspelled.

Lisa Marie's friend, on the other hand, insisted that there should have no questions regarding her wishes, including her desire to make her children the beneficiaries.

A hearing has been scheduled on April 13. Despite that, Keough is said to be focusing on her acting career. She is also busy being a mother to her baby girl.

On the other hand, Priscilla insisted that she acts with integrity and love with her recent legal move.
