Becky G and j-hope have been friends for years and many fans were touched after the musician sent her love and support for the Kpop superstar for his military enlistment.

According to SK Pop, the 25-year-old songstress met the Kpop idol when she collaborated with him in 2019 for the song "Chicken Noodle Soup."

Outside of their professional relationship, the two got along and became good friends which many of the BTS Army adore.

The 25-year-old singer is set to perform at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and supporters are hoping for j-hope to join her on stage as they previously took the stage of the Lolapalooze festival in Chicago last year.

However, j-hope, whose real name is Jiung Ho-Seok, has started his military training in South Korea as it's required for its male citizens, meaning he will not be able to join Becky G on her set.

On Twitter, the singer wrote, "We have spoke. i really wanted him to join me at Chella but for obvious reasons he can't be there. Very thankful for him and wishing him well." (via SK Pop)

As of this writing, j-hope has not responded to the post about him.

j-hope Military Enlistment

According to India Today, j-hope is the second member of BTS to enter military training in their home country as Jin already started his.

His management, BIGHIT, issued a statement ahead of his enlistment day, asking fans not to hold any event around the military site.

They noted that the entrance ceremony is only for military personnel and families, adding, "To prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, fans are advised to refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts."

Fans should expect the musician to be finished with his training by late 2024.
