Want to watch Metallica at the comfort of your own home? The band got you covered as they're set to perform on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" for a four-night residency.

Taking to their official Twitter account, the group said they are celebrating the release week of "72 Seasons" by taking over the famed talk show.

Their residency, which will be broadcast live via ABC, will begin on Monday, April 10 until Thursday, April 13.

"one night of chatting on the couch, and whatever other fun Jimmy has in store for us," they added.

This is not the first time Metallica and Jimmy Kimmel would collaborate as the famed host hosted their "All Within My Hands" benefit show last year.

Metallica Retirement

In other reports, Lars Ulrich spoke to Revolver Mag  last week and shared his personal sentiments over the band's touring future and it appears that the group will not retire soon.

In the conversation, the drummer said taking a break from music is not something the group has talked about, but he personally wanted to focus on his health and energy to continue making music and perform for fans.

However, he admitted that it's possible in the future where they are "not going to function anymore" and would pass on playing heavy tracks such as "Battery" and "Master of Puppets."

"I know there's some people in the comments section that think that point has already come - and I appreciate that. But the only thing I can say is that it hasn't happened yet, knock on wood. Hopefully it won't happen for a while," he said. (via Rock 108)
