Candace Owens is under fire over the past few days as she made a shocking comment about the singer's body image, leading fans to share their thoughts about the matter.

It all began when the conservative figure quote-retweeted a photo of the pop star who posed for a nude photo while drinking from a mug only covering her breast part.

"If you peep comments on any of Lizzo's 'fat acceptance' photos, you will undoubtedly find a score of batsh- insane women telling her that she looks beautiful. Men do not lie to other men in this way. They do not pretend that clinical obesity is beauty," she wrote. (via Billboard)

Owens didn't stop there as she continued criticizing the singer's body image and the people who are supporting it, saying only women can be emotionally manipulated "into supporting their own eradication" from the support for "trans men."

She concluded her post by saying the cultural battles in the present prove that women are more emotional and irrational compared to the opposite gender.

Lizzo Fans ANGRY Over Candace Owen's Comments

After the post made rounds online, Lizzo's fans, as well as body positivity advocates, share their own take on Candace Owen's recent tweets.

"Can we ALL just stop body shaming people?? Whether it's Lizzo, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Rihanna, or whoever else STOP BODY-SHAMING!!! PERIODT!" one wrote.

"Candace Owens she is fatphobic. She's also a very negative person. It's giving I'm a mean girl cause that's what she is," another one wrote.

As of this writing, Lizzo has not directly responded to the recent comment she received, but she took online a few hours after Owen's remarks went viral.

"I DONT NEED SOCIAL MEDIA...SOCIAL MEDIA NEEDS ME," she wrote. (via Billboard)

Lizzo's Previous Reaction to Body-Shaming Comments

Although the "About Damn Time" songstress didn't respond to the conservative author's comments, she previously reacted to body-shaming remarks she'd been getting.

In a video shared on TikTok and Instagram, as reported by Glamour Magazine, the singer, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, said she's going to do whatever she wants with her body and she wishes that negative comments posted online "costed you all money."

In other reports, Lizzo also reacted to Kanye West's negative remarks about her body as he previously spoke with Tucker Carlson, saying the media wanted to put out a perception that being overweight is the new thing despite it being "unhealthy."

The pop star responded during her concert, saying, "Im minding my fat, Black, beautiful business!"
