Jack Harlow just released his most recent album, "Jackman." While it was expected to gain more traction, especially with his upcoming movies, it sparked a conversation, which was pretty much negative attention to him because of his recent proclamations.

In one of his songs, "They Don't Love It," Harlow gave a pretty bold claim that had many rap fans thinking - and in a really surprising way - coming as one in proving he is "delusional" for saying so.

Jack Harlow 'Jackman' New Album

Released last Apr. 28, 2023, via Atlantic Records, Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow pumped out his third studio album, "Jackman." It was the sequel of his sophomore project, "Come Home The Kids Miss You."

According to early reviews of his album, "Jackman," has been received well by several critics. Per Rolling Stone, the album seemed to be a "step up" from his previous works. Clash, on the other hand, claimed that this was Harlow's "best" and most in-depth" album so far. HotNewHipHop echoed the sentiment, saying that people who want to have an "extremely authentic" connection with him would be "very pleased" when listening to the new record.

This is quite overwhelmingly positive, considering his last album received generally mixed reviews from critics, with the said publication giving him three out of five stars and 6 out of 10 rankings, respectively. HotNewHipHop said the album didn't live up to the hype that came before it. Pitchfork even gave it a 2.9 out of 10.

Although he was roasted online after revealing his shirtless body on the album cover art weeks ago, Harlow was confident to let everyone see his ripped abs and curly locks in it.

However, the roasting, and probably the insults, got way more serious when he claimed that he was the best white rapper since Eminem.

Jack Harlow, Eminem Comparison: Is He The 2nd Best White Rapper?

In "They Don't Love Me," the second song from "Jackman," Harlow boasted more than ever.

"The hardest white boy since the one who rapped about vomit and sweaters," he claimed, referencing Eminem's 2002 hit "Love Yourself." "And hold the comments 'cause I promise you I'm honestly better than whoever came to your head right then."

While his album received generally good reviews, rap fans begged to differ on his claims. Saying that there were even better white rappers that he seemed to leap at.

Among the rappers that were mentioned were the late Mac Miller, Lil Dicky, and even Machine Gun Kelly. Some others jokingly said that Bernadette Peters even deserved to be on the spot, as a nod to her fast song in "Into The Woods."
