According to Sports Keeda, the musician pased away at the age of 84 on May 1, 2023. The tragic news was confirmed by his agent, confirming that he spent time at a hospital in Toronto.

Although his exact cause of death was not revealed, it appears that he had health issues as he canceled his tour weeks prior.

In addition to his agent's confirmation, Gordon's family shared an official statement through his Facebook page, saying he died on Monday evening and was survived by his wife, Kim Hasse, children, and grandchildren.
