The 76th annual Tony awards Nominees were just announced, and Broadway's preeminent awards show is led by "Some Like It Hot" with 13 whopping nominations!

Meanwhile, Oscar winner Jessica Chastain is one of the standout nominees tonight, along with film icon Samuel L. Jackson, and Annaleigh Ashford, Ben Platt, among many others. Notably, 2018 Tony hosts Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles both received their respective leading actor nominations for "Sweeney Todd" and "Into The Woods."

"& Juliet," "New York, New York," and "Shucked" follows "Some Like It Hot" with nine nominations each. "Kimberly Akimbo" and "Sweeney Todd" racked eight.

The 2023 Tony Awards will be aired live on June 12 on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET. Academy award and BAFTA award-winning actress Ariana DeBose will host the ceremonies at the United Palace on Broadway.
