Jamie Foxx broke his silence for the first time since he was hospitalized three weeks ago due to undisclosed medical complication.

Foxx's family and friends asked everyone to keep him in their prayers weeks after he was admitted to a medical facility. One of the singer-actor's pals, Charlie Mack, shared an Instagram post to ask his followers to include him in their thoughts as they wait for him to be back home.

While the new update sparked concerns, Foxx spoke up for the first time to express his gratitude to everyone who has been supporting him and showing love amid his health battle.

The 55-year-old "Fall For Your Type" singer took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday to express how blessed he has been because of the public's love and support.

"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," he wrote, adding a shoutout to Nick Cannon, "Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon."

Meanwhile, his daughter Corinne shared her father's post on her Instagram Story and thanked everyone, as well. She first confirmed the singer's health scare on April 12, revealing that Foxx experienced a medical complication on April 11.

However, neither she nor Foxx already disclosed what truly happened to the singer-actor.

On the hand, a source revealed to People on April 21 that he has steadily improved following the medical emergency.

"He's okay, thank God," the insider revealed. "He's still in the hospital and doctors are running tests but he's awake and alert. They're keeping him under observation."

Jamie Foxx To Miss "Beat Shazam" Hosting Gig

Due to uncertainties regarding Jamie Foxx's return to the spotlight, FOX decided on Wednesday that Nick Cannon would temporarily host the musical game show alongside Kelly Osbourne, who was tapped to do Corinne's role as a guest DJ.

The company and the show both sent their well wishes to Foxx as they prayed for his fast recovery.

"Beat Shazam" is scheduled to return on May 23 to mark its sixth season.

Foxx's other ongoing project, the upcoming Netflix movie, "Back in Action," initially shut down the recording after the actor's hospitalization. It resumed the next day alongside his stand-in.

As for his music career, Foxx has not commented about whether he has plans to release a new album or single. The last music project he dropped was the 2015 "Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses."
