Jennifer Lopez's mother always knew her daughter and Ben Affleck would get back together.
The Bennifer couple proved that love is sweeter the second time around when they reconciled decades after initially calling off their engagement. They finally said "I do" on July 16 in Las Vegas before having another extravagant August wedding in Georgia.
Although it took the couple decades before trying again, the singer's mother revealed she always knew that the two would still end up together.

Lopez and her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, appeared together in an interview with Today on Wednesday. The mom-daughter tandem spoke about the 53-year-old "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer's relationship with Affleck and why Rodriguez thought their marriage was a long time coming.
Per the matriarch, she knew about it because she "prayed for 20 years."
Meanwhile, Lopez nodded to her mother and said "OK" like she heard the story before.

Lopez and Affleck's reconciliation came after they initially planned to get married in 2003. However, they called off their engagement in 2004 and went on to start families with their other former partners.
The "On The Floor" singer also explained how their marriage helped her to realize what she wants to do with her life. In addition, her kids reportedly love Affleck so much.
"He's a wonderful, wonderful father and father figure to them. He has his own three beautiful children and then there's us and he's fantastic," she went on. "He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means and they love him. They love him. They appreciate him and so do I."
Lopez's reconciliation with Affleck inspired her to create her upcoming album, "This Is Me... Now." It serves as the follow-up to her 2022 album, "This Is Me... Then."

While Lopez and Affleck grow as a married couple, the singer's twins Max and Emme reportedly start to become adults, as well, who do not follow the rules.
Still, the singer-actress applauded her kids' capacity to look at everything and hone themselves to "change the world."
After Bennifer's wedding, the couple now has an expanded family, with Affleck having children Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. He shares his three kids with ex, Jennifer Garner.
