For years, rumors about a romantic relationship between Dianna Agron and Taylor Swift had been circulating.

However, the "Glee" star recently made it clear that the two's friendship was not more than platonic.

Discussing Taylor Swift's "22", Rolling Stone asked Dianna about her inclusion in its liner notes.

Alongside her were three other names - Ashley, Claire, and Selena - probably belonging to Ashley Avignone, Claire Kislinger, and Selena Gomez, some of Taylor's closest friends.

When asked whether the "I'm Still Standing" singer inspired Taylor's track, she laughed and replied, "Me? Oh, I wish! If only!"

She continued with a shy grin saying, "That's more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song."

Back in 2012, Dianna and Taylor had a strong bond. They are often featured in paparazzi photographs and Instagram posts. Furthermore, they shared an affinity for dress-up parties. Before the term "Swift squad" was even born, these two were close friends.

Speculation of something more than a platonic relationship had been rife among fans for many years. Behind the theories were song lyrics and tweets that looked to have hidden meanings and pointed to tattoo removal.

Dianna Agron gave an intriguing response when asked about reports of a relationship between her and the "Bejeweled" singer-songwriter.

She said: "That is so interesting. I ... I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That's funny."

In news relation to Dianna Agron, regarding the rumor about her "Glee" days, she expressed that it was "not true" that Ryan Murphy or Lea Michele was responsible for blocking her from appearing in Cory Monteith's tribute episode after the actor died in 2013.

She told Rolling Stone, "I think there are so many false pieces of information out there."

"That's the weirdest thing that you have to learn in this industry - you don't comment on things that are untrue, because that gives them more space."

The 37-year-old blonde beauty said, "Maybe at the end of my career, I'll write a book and go into detail on everything that was very true and untrue.
