A third Twitter user said, "It will be SOOOOOO nice watching Idol tonight without having to hold the remote so I can 'MUTE' Perry and Richie every time they open their mouths!"

They urged, "Now change those two judges out PERMANENTLY!"

Katy Perry Getting Replaced on 'American Idol'?

Katy Perry's stint on "American Idol" has not been without controversy, with some reports suggesting that her removal from the show is a possibility.

Radar Onlineclaims that producers are considering dismissing the artist due to her "rude and condescending comments" and her less-than-savory behavior.

Reports suggest that anger is spreading among fans over how the pop star, Katy, treated a singing duo recently.

An insider commented: "Katy had already been criticized for her sharp remarks in the past and now this incident has left people feeling indignant."

After Katy was criticized for her alleged mom-shaming of talented auditionee Sara Beth Lieb, who eventually left, Sara took to TikTok to address what had happened.

She said in her viral video, "At the start of my audition before I sang, I mentioned that I had three children and was a young mother, and Katy Perry made a joke that wasn't super kind."

"It was embarrassing to have that on TV. And it was hurtful and, you know, that's that."

"I did want to take this opportunity to say that I think that women supporting and uplifting other women is so cool, and I think that mom-shaming is super lame."

Still, fans must wait to see if Katy Perry will still be on the show next season.
