Hours after it was publicized that country Music star Jimmie Allen has been named in an incriminating sexual assault lawsuit, the Country Music Association has decided to remove him from the lineup of performers at the 2023 CMA Fest.

Allen was accused of allegedly raping and assaulting a woman on his own management team.

Jimmie Allen Sacked From CMA Fest Lineup

According to a statement from the Country Music Association to Billboard, Allen was already sacked from the CMA fest lineup.

Supposedly, Allen will be part of the CMA Fest 2023 lineup, performing in downtown Nashville on Jun. 8 to 11, 2023. As scheduled, Allen was supposed to close the festival on Jun. 11, 2023, at the Nissan Stadium.

Along with him were Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Ashley McBryde, and Tim McGraw.

The publication noted that this year's celebration will be a monumental one as it would celebrate 50 years of connecting fans and artists in the incredible music festival.

Jimmie Allen Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Billboard detailed that the Jimmie Allen sexual assault lawsuit was filed by Jane Doe who served as a manager to Allen back then.

She claims to have been "sexually harrassed and raped" by the "Make Me Want To" singer. She even noted that she was fired from the company after she complained.

The complaint, initially reported by Variety and exclusively obtained by Billboard, was filed under a Tennessee federal court.

"Plaintiff expressed in words and actions that Jimmie Allen's conduct was unwelcome, including pushing him away, sitting where he could not reach her, telling him she was uncomfortable and no, and crying uncontrollably, the lawsuit read.

More so, Jane Doe claimed that the singer "manipulated and used his power" over her job, making it clear that her job was "dependent" on her being silent about what was happening between them.

It is also important to note that Allen was married to wife Gayle in 2021. He had a son with an ex and had a third child with Gayle earlier this year shortly after announcing their separation.

Since being filed with the lawsuit, Allen's record label, BBR Music Group, already suspended him.
