Kelly Clarkson is facing some pretty heavy and serious allegations against "The Kelly Clarkson Show," and it is making fans wonder if she knew about it all along.

According to reports, several members of staff from the talk show claimed that they have been overworked and underpaid, and to make matters worse, some also alleged that "working at the show was traumatizing to their mental health."

Rolling Stone broke the news and included 11 staff members, 10 of which are still working on the show; they also claimed that they had filed complaints to the human resources department regarding the aforementioned concerns, as well as multiple bullying and verbal abuse allegations.

'Toxic Work Environment'

NBC responded to the allegations hurled their way, and denounced the members of staff who claimed otherwise.

"We are committed to a safe and respectful work environment and take workplace complaints very seriously, and to insinuate otherwise is untrue," the statement read.

"When issues are reported they are promptly reviewed, investigated, and acted upon as appropriate. 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' strives to build a safe, respectful, and equitable workplace that nurtures a culture of inclusivity and creativity."

As of this writing, there has been no follow-up story from the publication regarding the network's statement.

Kelly Clarkson an Accomplice?

According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Since U Been Gone" singer is innocent in all of the drama going down in her own show.

The anonymous staff denied that Clarkson had anything to do with the horrendous work conditions, low pay, as well as bullying, and verbal abuse going on behind the scenes.

In fact, they commended the singer and called her "fantastic," despite the show's lack of care for its staff members.

"Kelly has no clue how unhappy her staff is," said the former employee to Rolling Stone.

"Kelly is fantastic. She is a person who never treats anyone with anything but dignity and is incredibly appreciative," said another.

"I would be shocked if she knew. I'd be floored if she knew the staff wasn't getting paid for two weeks of Christmas hiatus. The Kelly that I interacted with and that everyone knows would probably be pretty aghast to learn that."

Another staff revealed that they would go to the rooftop and break down due to the mistreatment they received.

"I remember going up on the roof of the stage to cry, being like, 'Oh, my gosh, what am I doing? Why am I putting myself through this?'"

As of this writing, Clarkson is yet to address any of the allegations about her talk show's work environment and conditions.
