The National previously organized a music event called Homecoming Festival over half a decade ago and many fans have been wondering when will it return as they haven't heard from the band regarding the concert for years now.

Fortunately for supporters, the group finally announced the follow-up festival five years later and they revealed the performers this year; find out below if your favorite artist will perform.

According to Billboard, the Cincinnati-born musicians will be bringing back their successful Homecoming Festival to their hometown along with some of the biggest bands in the music industry.

Even though The National, composed of members Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Bryan Devendorf, and Scott Devendor, have been amassing success worldwide and performing in major cities, they always go back to the city where everything started.

"When we launched Homecoming in 2018, we were overwhelmed by the response from the community and by our renewed sense of connection to our hometown," they wrote in an Instagram post.

The group added that they're excited to return to their hometown after five years along with their good friends and favorite artists.

The National's music event will be at the ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park.

Homecoming Festival 2023 Tickets

For those who wanted to watch the group and other musicians perform live, all passes including VIP, single-day, and weekend tickets will be available to the public starting on May 19 at 10 a.m. ET.

VIP ticketolders will have access to concessions area, a preffered viewing location, and their special magazine produced by Graham MacIndoe.

Cherry Tree members' early access has already began and they will have an early access to the venue and magazine.

In other updates, the band released their latest album "First Two Pages of Frankenstein" last month and it featured collaborators like Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and Sufjan Stevens.
