Miley Cyrus revealed the reason why she would not support her latest album with a tour.

Cyrus formally returned with new music in March by dropping her album, "Endless Summer Vacation." It immediately ranked third on the Billboard 200 and introduced its chart-topping single, "Flowers," which became the quickest song to have 1 billion streams on Spotify.

After releasing the music video for "Jaded," the singer clarified that she would not hold a tour to support the album.

Miley Cyrus Says She Will Not Have Tour

The 30-year-old "Party in the U.S.A." hitmaker sat down for an interview with British Vogue for the magazine's latest cover story, during which she talked about whether or not she has plans to tour.

According to Cyrus, it is highly unlikely she will hold concerts again anytime soon.

"It's been a minute. After the last [headline arena] show I did [in 2014], I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can't," she said. "Not only 'can't', because can't is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else's pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?"

Cyrus has not launched any global tour since she had her last world tour in 2014 to support her 2013 album, "Bangerz." The singer visited cities across Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, North America, and Europe.

In recent years, she opted to perform in festivals and shows including Lollapalooza and Glastonbury.

Instead of a world tour, fans can expect to see her in smaller-scale shows as she told British Vogue how she now prefers to perform for her close friends and family members. She explained how singing in large-scale arenas is not the thing she loves since there is no safety and only offers an unnatural feeling.

Cyrus noted that performing in front of hundreds of thousands of people can also be isolating.

Miley Cyrus Does NOT Want To Stay Big in Music Industry

After ruling out a potential world tour, Cyrus also reflected on her album and songs' popularity and why she does not think it will last.

Per the singer, she is aware that everything is seasonal and can only be a "moment" that will be over soon. While fans might think she was being pessimistic, she said that she was only being honest and that it was okay with her.
